The University of Idaho has recently partnered on a $1.5 million grant for the Doris Duke Conservation Scholars Program. The grant will provide undergraduate students with training and mentored research activities in conservation biology and other disciplines relevant to land, water and wildlife conservation. This is an outstanding potential source of funding for any student considering developing a senior thesis idea. Kerri Vierling and Christine Moffit are the contact persons for this opportunity- students who are interested should reach out to one of these individuals.
