Contact Faculty: Janet RachlowIdea: Evaluate interactions between small mammal communities and vegetative characteristics on Moscow Mountain. Context: Moscow Mountain provides a readily accessible, ecologically diverse landscape for research. It may be possible to choose a focal species (red squirrels might provide a good option) and look at animal-vegetative associations using tools like Lidar. The interested student would need to do some groundwork to make a project like this happen.
